AEC offers technical assistance to project managers (PMs) and facilities managers (FMs) whose projects are required to achieve LEED Certification in order to obtain a construction permit and/or a "Certificate of Occupancy." AEC's technical assistance comes in the form of Position Papers - one for new construction projects, (LEED BD+C); one for existing facility projects including maintenance, R&I projects, renovations, remodels, and additions (LEED O+M).
